Optimal sleep pattern
Last night I couldn’t sleep. I couldn’t sleep the night before either. Or the night before that. Or the night before that.
I notice a trend here. I tend to work better at night. I don’t know what it is, but my focus is a lot sharper between the hours of 11 pm and 5 am. Everything just seems to click.
I often imagine what would happen if all the stores were open at night and if school happened at night, would it be the same. I don’t think that’s the case. I think that the quietness from the world (or at least my time zone) is precisely what causes me to work better at night.
But then there’s the problem of sleeping in. I vow to never take a morning class ever again. I find that it I’d very hard to wake up, and even if I do find myself awake at 8 am I wouldn’t be able to focus on the lecture anyways. I find that 10-11 am classes are ideal because they’re not too early and you can actually be awake during the day and not miss all the events.
Anyways, my 1 pm class is about to start. I’m so happy it’s my first class of the day 🙂
